Hi Pierre,
I just wanted to take a moment to let you know how pleased we are with our chairs. To be honest, - in the beginning I was a bit skeptical to order a product based only on internet pictures... Like many, I've learned from past mistakes (that pictures don't always give a true sense of what you're about to receive). Now I find assurance in the ability to scrutinize and touch a tangible object before making a decision. So, I focused my search to specialty stores and garden centers that carry stock that we could physically find touch in their showroom. We even made a special trip to the Muskoka’s to look at what specialty woodshops were doing in the area. And while the quality was often there, the price just didn't seem to fit our budget. So our search continued...
I searched for weeks trying to find that magical fit where quality meets value. I wanted a significant number of chairs that could stand the harsh summer and winter seasons, and would last me more than a few summers. I don't have the room to store the chairs in my garage, so they need to be "built to last" so to speak... I did not want 'campy' replicas you find at hardware stores. I wanted a sound one-time investment, but of course, everything comes down to price.
One evening, when I decided to search online a little harder (drilling down a few pages on a Google search) I found your website, and fired off a quick email to get a vibe for what dealing with your company would be like. The images you had weren’t "exactly" what I was looking for. I wanted something a little more "custom" now that I knew what "out there" after looking for so long. The question was, would you be willing to work with me, and (if so) at what premium?
What I want you to know from this letter is that you have certainly exceeded our expectations in several aspects. Perhaps most important is the quality of materials you use in the construction of the chairs. The cedar is thick, solid and aromatic! It has good character, and the hardware is robust! Throughout this relationship, you've been available and have always responded quickly, courteously, and with detail in your replies. I feel you genuinely appreciated my business, and would often go above-and-beyond to answer questions such as making stain/sealer suggestions based on my usage. But what really impressed me is the ingenuity you've demonstrated in bringing my “customizations” to life. In only a few short email exchanges, you were able to visualize what I wanted and create a reality that surpassed our expectations. Thank you!!!
